Contemporary tattoo art has long transcended the boundaries of human skin, evolving into a global cultural phenomenon capable of adapting to any surface. One of the most striking examples of this expansion is the new project by world-renowned artist Kozo, who decided to challenge the traditional concept of automotive design. For his “canvas,” he chose not just a car, but an icon of American automotive industry – a pristine white 1967 Ford Mustang Coupe. This project, titled “Permanent Impermanence,” is a collaboration with the creative studio Car Dept and marks a new milestone in the fusion of tattoo culture, classical painting, and technical aesthetics.
