However, the issue of professional realization for people with extreme modifications remains open. A recent incident in Kyiv, when a 20-year-old with extensive facial tattoos publicly complained about systematic employer rejections, sparked a large-scale discussion about the boundaries of corporate ethics and personal freedom. The young man honestly admitted on social media that his specific appearance, although a source of personal pride, had become an insurmountable barrier to official employment. This situation formed the basis of a journalistic experiment, the goal of which was to find out: is the capital’s labor market truly ready for inclusivity, or are “drawings” on the skin still considered a “black mark” for a job seeker.
