For most of us, cartoons are a fond childhood memory, but for 34-year-old Hackney resident Luke Poulton, the adventures of a claymation inventor and his loyal dog have become the foundation of his entire life. A video engineer by profession, Luke has turned his passion into a true cult: he spends about 35 hours a month rewatching classic films from Aardman Animations, and his home resembles a museum more than a living space. However, the most striking manifestation of this devotion has become an “ink chronicle” on his body – currently, Luke has four themed tattoos and has already prepared a sketch for a fifth, which will definitively solidify his status as the franchise’s ultimate superfan.
