China’s modern tattoo culture is undergoing a remarkable transformation, balancing centuries-old prohibitions with the rapid development of youth self-expression. At the heart of this movement are Beibei and Qiqi, two talented artists and co-owners of Ebony Tattoo Studio (乌木刺青), which has been successfully operating in Zhuhai’s Leshi Cultural District since 2019.
